Spright will allow a sprite height to be from 1 to 200. Since
the width of a sprite is only 16 pixels, Spright has a Dual mode which
sets up two sprites side by side for editing. If more colors is what
you want? Attached sprites (15 colors + background color) also can be
created. 3 colors + background is all that is possible for a simple
sprite. The colors used (which can be changed anytime) will also be
saved in the file in case they are needed.
In the center of the screen there is a boxed area which is the
paint area. The pixel painted will be a 4x4 sized pixel. And on the
right side of the screen the sprite will be shown.
To attach two sprites in a program select a pair of sprites that
use the same color register (0-1)(2-3) ect. Place them at the same
spot on the screen. Set the second control word at the beginning
of the shape data on the second sprite to 0x80 (SPRITE_ATTACHED).
From then on only the first sprite has to be called when moving ect.
Directions:
Quit This gadget will terminate the program. No warnings given.
Dual The Dual mode is used if two sprites are wanted side by
side. Each sprite will be the same length. Different
colors can be used for each sprite if attach mode is
not on.
